The important differences between Affiliate and Franchised Members

Unfortunately the short answer is No, but with a few provisos...Firstly, you need to either be invited by The Tiara Company or be involved in running a wedding based business and complete an application form that The Tiara Company to consider.

Affiliates only earn commission on customers they intoduce to retailers, usually via the associates website or social channel. This commission is usually small, around 10% to 15%. Franchised members on the other hand are individuals or companies that are completely independant businesses in their own right and actually OWN and keep one of the 80 tiaras (see below). They are in full control of any deal they negotiate and receive the FULL AMOUNT of the sale. They are responsible for paying any overheads/commissions due on the sale.

The answer is very simple....Because the 'clients' cookie from your website lasts 30 days, if your referred client returns and buys withing those 30 days, YOU get the commission. If more than 30 days have elapsed, the cookie would have expired and no longer is valid. Therefore, commission will be paid to the LATEST click as another 30 day cookie is produced. No, not quite...In order to stop people registering an Affiliate Account to receive a discount on their hire(sale) items they purchase, you will only be paid commission from the second affiliate hire(sale) and sucessful payment....After you have sucessfully earned four hire(sale) transactions, you will be paid the first sales commission..i.e in arrears. From then on, commission is paid as normal following a sucessful hire/sale and completed payment.

No, at all times as an Affiliate or Associate Member you are not an employee of The Tiara Company. You are a separate company or self employed entity in your own right with no legal tie to The Tiara Company..

Let's look at an example. The Victoria Tiara hires for £295.

Step 1 is to deduct the VAT which is payable to H.M Government. This is equivalent to 16.67% of the total figure or £49.18.
Step 2.Take off the cost of Special Delivery Postage which is £30.
Step 3. From £295 (hire charge) take off VAT (£49.18) and Postage (£30) total £79.18.
This leaves £215.82 so you're commisson will be 15% of £215.82 or £32.37 PLUS VAT if you're VAT registered making a final total of £38.85 per hire.

Yes, but not all of it. Our cancellation policy allows clients to cancel their reservations (within time limits) and pay only a percentage of the Hire cost currently 50%. This means, that the maximum 'Charge Back' will be 50% of your commission received.
Commission on Gift Items are treated differently and a full chargeback is possible should your client decide to return the gifts for refund. We give 100% refund to clients on gifts returned within 30 days of them being delivered. (subject to not being opened and security tags being fully intact and not tampered with...We are very particular about this.)

With an Associate membership orders are not only placed via links on a website, Associates may also orders place directly via security locked forms that are specific to them. They are accessed from within their portal that we set up for them.

Associate Members are able to directly issue guarantee security bonds in their own name and with their own recognisance (subject to pre-agreed limits).
